GutterMelt

GutterMelt is our line voltage heat tracing product line. This product can be either a Mineral Insulated cable or a Self Regulating cable. Our most common application for GutterMelt is right in the name, melting snow and ice accumulation in gutters and downspouts. Typically our self regulating cut to length cable is used for these applications making installation a breeze. These products are used along with our under roof deicing ZMesh and Tuff Cable products to provide a path for water to the ground. GutterMelt can also be used for pipe heat tracing and process temperature maintenance applications.

GutterMelt systems are maintenance free and can be customized to fit any application in any region providing a wide range of heat output. We take pride in designing systems for our customers. GutterMelt has a 10 year warranty and these industrialized cables will perfom when called to action!

HOW IT WORKS

GutterMelt systems use either a fixed lenght Mineral Insulated Cable or a cut to length Self Regulating Cable. Cable output in watts/lineal foot is determined by application. A Heatizon Relay panel is used to activate up to 4 circuits while allowing multiple relay panels to be tied together (for large jobs) in one activation device.

 
The Relay Panel houses relays that can activate multiple zones with one temperature moisture sensor or manual activator. Relay panels can also be tied together as well as tied to other Heatizon products such as the Selector Box and CBX control units for our low voltage lines.

With no moving parts to replace or maintain, the GutterMelt heat trace system is virtually maintenance free.
